A case has been registered against students protesting for online exams



University of Central Punjab attacked by thugs, police began to control the situation. Several miscreants who attacked the university were arrested. The attackers were pushed back and the two gates of the university were cleared.

Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal in an exclusive interview with Lahore News said that the attack on UCP was a regrettable matter and the action was taken by mischievous elements. The miscreants openly bullied and bullied, such miscreants and bullies will be prosecuted.

He said that as much as today's incident deserves less condemnation, he would seek help from footage and photographs. The footage will show that action will be taken against whoever is involved.

The provincial minister further said that even if any student was involved, he would not leave, assuring the university administration of full government support.

Earlier, DIG Operations Ashfaq Khan while talking to media said that police troops were present outside the University of Central Punjab, police dispersed the thugs. Police are stationed outside the university gate. Police have started arresting miscreants.

A case has been registered against students of a private university in Lahore for protesting for online exams. According to the details, a case has been registered against the students of the private university who protested violently for the online exams in which 94 nominees and 500 people have been kept unknown.

In the lawsuit, the university administration took the position that the students were barred from holding a sit-in They attacked, during which the accused vandalized the university with siege, injured the security guards and also damaged property. While protesting student leader Muhammad Zubair Siddiqui alleged that the university people only want to take physical exams to make money, we tried to talk to the university but no one listened to us.

In Lahore , it may be mentioned that angry students had set fire to the entrance of the university  yesterday. Police charged batons on the protesting students as a result of which Two students were injured and several students were arrested. The students demanded that exams be conducted online as well as online studies. More police arrived on the scene and dispersed the students. DIG Operations Ashfaq Khan reached the spot and said that peaceful protest is everyone's right but those who take the law into their own hands will be dealt with.

DIG Operations said that action would be taken against those involved in violent activities with the help of CCTV cameras. He called the student's death in the protests a lie. Due to the protest of students yesterday, long queues of vehicles remained on the road from Jinnah University to Khayaban-e-Jinnah Road. Students from different cities of the country are on Strikes and  protested in favor of online exams.
