PCB had Announced PSL 6 schedule
LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule of HBL Pakistan Super League 2021. The opening match will be played on February 20 and the final on March 22.
The inaugural match of the league will be played on February 20, where defending champions Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators will take on each other. The match between the two teams will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi.
The next day, two matches will be played in the event. Lahore, the finalist of the fifth edition of the league in the first match. The Finalist of PSL season 5 Lahore Qalandars and winner of PSL Edition 2017 Peshawar Zalmi while the two-time champions Islamabad United and Multan Sultans will be seen in action in the second and third match Respectively. The final of the 30-day tournament will be played on March 22 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. For the first time since 2017, the final of the event will be played in Lahore.
The 34-match event will be played in Karachi and Lahore to ensure the health and safety of all stakeholders during the global Corona virus epidemic.
The first phase of the event will be played at the National Stadium Karachi and the second phase will be played at the PCB Headquarters Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. Equal matches will be played in both the cities.
Also, on the basis of equality, any decision regarding the arrival of spectators will be made a few days before the event, the government's recommendations in this regard will be taken into account.
The sporting period of HBL Pakistan Super League 2021 will start from February 15. Foreign players participating in the league must have a negative result of a test for corona virus before arriving in Karachi. Will be allowed.
The cricketer or sports staff who test positive will be sent to isolation for five days. During this time, two more tests for the corona virus will be performed, the first on the first day of isolation and the second on the fourth day of isolation.
Director Commercials Babar Hamid said that he had mixed impressions on the announcement of HBL Pakistan Super League 2021 schedule. He said that he was happy that the event would be held in Pakistan for the second year in a row. All the matches of the event have to be limited to 2 cities and the situation is not clear yet regarding the arrival of spectators.
The Director Commercials said that last year a large number of spectators in Multan and Rawalpindi turned to the stadium to commemorate the event. ۔

All matches scheduled in Karachi will be played at National Stadium Karachi and all matches scheduled in Lahore will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. Scheduled matches during the day will start at 2 pm and scheduled matches at night will start at 7 pm. Two matches will be played on Friday, the first match will start at 3 pm and the second at 8 pm.
