Growing concern of US politicians and media over human rights violations in Kashmir
Hundreds of thousands of people, including youths and children, have been arrested under various restrictions and bans, including a curfew that has been in place for almost two months since the end of Indian-administered Kashmir's constitutional status, and hundreds have been arrested. Communications systems, including the Internet and telephone, have been shut down, leaving ordinary citizens stranded.
Due to the tense situation in Indian-administered Kashmir and human rights violations, several US politicians and media outlets have been criticizing the Indian government over the sanctions, and news has been regularly reported on various newspapers and TV news channels. ۔
In this regard, a meeting of the US House of Representatives Sub-Committee on Asia has been convened this month to discuss the ongoing human rights violations in Kashmir.

A report released by the Kashmir Media Service's research section on the occasion of International Human Rights Day today revealed that as a result of these testimonies, 22,924Women were widowed and 1,7,811 children were orphaned. The report said that Indian troops desecrated 11,231 women and destroyed 110,375 residential houses and other properties during the period. According to the report, more than 8,000 Kashmiris were reported missing by Indian troops and police during the period.
The report said that thousands of school children were injured by the firing of pellet guns by Indian troops while 19-month-old Habba Jan, 10-year-old Asif Ahmed Sheikh, 16-year-old Aqib Zahoor, 17-year-old Ulfat Hameed and 17-year-old Bilal Ahmed Dozens of people, including Butt, Insha Mushtaq, 19-year-old Tariq Ahmed Gojri and 19-year-old Faizan Ashraf Tantra, have lost their sight.
The report said that 295 Kashmiris, including seven women, had been martyred since the end of Narendra Modi's Fascist Indian government on August 5 last year and the imposition of a special siege on the occupied territories. He was martyred in custody. During this period, soldiers broke into houses and desecrated 94 women.
